Top class tournament action heads to the West Indies next month for the Caribbean Master Poker series. The week long event takes place at the luxurious Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in the stunning resort of Punta Cana with the first of five tournaments starting on 14 March.

The top attraction is set to be the $2,500 Main Event which gets under way on Friday 18 March.

The full tournament schedule is as follows:

Monday 14 March
NL Hold'em $300 – 3,000 chips – 30 minute clock

Tuesday 15 March
NL Hold'em $500 – 5,000 chips – 30 minute clock

Wednesday 16 March
NL Hold'em $1,000 – 10,000 chips – 40 minute clock (2 days)

Thursday 17 March
Final of the $1,000 event
Super Satellite to the Main Event $250 (rebuy plus add-on)

Friday 18 March
NL Hold'em Main Event - $2,500 – 25,000 chips – 50 minute clock

Saturday 19 March
Main Event Day 2
Consolation tournament - $500 – 5,000 chips – 30 minute clock

Sunday 20 March
Main Event Final
Consolation Event final

Satellites for all of the events will run on the same day as the tournament at 2pm. NL Hold'em and PLO cash games will also run around the clock with levels range from $1/$2 to $20/$40.

And if the combination of poker and beautiful Caribbean beaches aren't enough, organisers are also offering some great sporting activities including golf (the resort boasts two courses, one rated in the top five in the world) as well as competitive backgammon and some spectacular horseriding.

It's possible to qualify in a number of live satellites in Paris over the next few weeks. A €300 satellite is running at the Cercle Haussman at 4pm on Saturday 26 February with a €30 rebuy satellite at the Cercle Wagram at 5pm on Monday 7 and Wednesday 9 March. A €300 freezeout satellites will run at 9pm on Wednesday 9 March at the Wagram with sit and go satellites running around the clock at Cercle Cadet.
